Happy Birthday Jessie!!!

Today is Jessica's birthday! I made her breakfast in bed this morning (pancakes, eggs, o.j., and milk). Later today she'll get her gift. Tomorrow night we'll go on a birthday date, and Saturday we'll have cake & ice cream! Sort of a birthday weekend!

Cutest little night cap, hat thingy ever! She's so cute. She had a hard time sleeping last night, kept mommy and daddy up a lot! But, she makes these cute little noises and stares at us, so it's worth it - - - - for now :)

She just sittin' there, looking around. When she's been fed and has a clean diaper on, she's mellow, she just sits there, moving her hands all around. She likes to grab things.

Happy Father's Day!

For Father's Day, Chad received an awesome facial! First one ever, and it was awesome. This is not an actual picture of the facial :)

...and the kids washed his car on Saturday.

...and then on Sunday, Brandon was sick, and Dad served Brandon in bed. Faker! - just kidding.

Baby Carly Belle

Last night I took over baby duty in the 3 a.m. hour sometime. I wanted to give mommy a little more rest than she's been getting. I changed Carly's diaper around 3:30am, fed her, then put her to sleep on my chest. She seemed to like it. She slept soundly until about 8:30am. Not bad. She's generally a sleepy girl. Only wakes up to eat, get a fresh diaper, and then it's 'back to sleep'! She's living the life I wish I had :)

...and here she is! We have a baby girl! But no name yet. We had several names on a list, but no name yet. We each have our favorites, but we're waiting to see what she looks like. We wish she would just tell us what her name is. Cute girl!

She weighs 6 pounds 11 oz.

She's here! Our baby girl was born on June 4th, 2008 at 9:26am. She weighed 6 lbs 11 oz & measured at 19 inches long. She's a beauty! She has light brown hair and blue eyes. We didn't have a name for her until we had a few conversations with her, and Thursday she finally helped us pick Carly Belle as her name. This was the only name that she responded to. She closed her eyes for all the other names, but for this one, she opened them. She's so cute. Mommy & baby are doing fine and plan to leave the hospital on Saturday morning. Check back soon for more pictures! We're taking hundreds! :)

Jess' Pregnant belly - June 3rd

Tomorrow morning, bright and early, we're going to the hospital to have this baby.
We go in at 7:30am, the c-section is at 9am (UT time) and as soon as we can, we'll give everyone a call and let you all know how it went. We're still trying to decide on the baby's name. We were hoping she would tell us.
