We have a dog named Sampson...Ashlee loves our dog...
Ashlee is becoming the dog! But what a cute little
dog she makes :)
Isaiah has been playing flag football this year, he
loves it! His team is called the Saints and they are
undefeated...go team!
Carly loves to be outside...Chad took some great
pictures of her while we were at Isaiah's football game.

Carly had her 4 month shots (5 of them!) and she
wasn't too happy about it for a while :(

But she eventually cheered up!

Carly loves to spit and blow spit bubbles

...looks like she's plotting something here

What a cutie! Carly has been teething for
about a month and always has something in
her mouth and drool running down her chin!

Pics of Brandon

Brandon update

Brandon is doing ok. He's neutropenic right now, which means a part of his blood count is really low. He is very susceptible to sickness right now. We're keeping him in the house, and he's going a little stir crazy. He's tired most days, a bit weak most days. He's hanging in there, keeping his spirits up. His aunt Nancy & family brought him some fun costume wigs to play with. He likes those.

I recently asked Brandon about the chemotherapy treatments:

1. How do you feel about getting chemotherapy?
"At times I can feel overwhelmed, and at other times I feel like I can deal with it."

2. How does it feel when you get the chemotherapy?
"It feels hard to do - and for some reason my breath feels all hot - and it makes me want to throw up. It makes me feel depressed because I have to go through all this crapola. Sometimes the day before I leave the hospital I start to feel a little better."

3. What do you look forward to the most?
"Getting better. Being able to get back to a normal teenage life."

4. What do you like to do when you get bored?
"It's really boring sitting in the hospital for so many days. When I'm bored I play my PSP and I watch movies, but sometimes those things can get boring too - so I'm just staring at the ceiling."
