SPIRIT WEEK

We've got spirit, yes we do...we've got spirit,
how 'bout YOU????? Prepare yourself, you may
wet your pants when you look at these pictures. So
Ashlee's school had "spirit week" a few weeks ago. For
those of you not familiar with this, it's a week of dressing
up for the kids. For example, crazy hair/pajama day,
retro day, super hero day, dress like your grandparent day.
I unfortunately can't find the pics of the crazy hair day, she
looked adorable, I put twisted buns down the middle of her
head...a twisty-bun-hawk if you will :)...then I sprayed it
red and glittery...very cute! For Super Hero Day, Ash asked
Chad if he would draw on a shirt for her. She wanted a
SS on the front like superman, stands for "Super Smashlee"
then Chad drew a cape on the back. We were trying to
figure out what to put on her bottom half when I had a genius
idea. I told her to wear her purple tights with black shorts and
high tops...don't you love it when your kids aren't worried about
being "cool" and will be silly! Ok, all lookin good for the week..
then Retro Day rolls around. Ashlee said she was going to wear
skinny jeans, a tye died shirt and she wanted me to give her
an "Afro". I wasn't sure at first if I could fro her hair out, but
told her I'd give it t try. So the night before I put sponge rollers
in her hair and in the morning I ratted the heck out of those
tiny little curls. Needless to say, It's a good thing she didn't have
to change her shirt after we did her hair! Oh man, I could barely
keep spraying the hair spray I was laughing so hard...ENJOY!

Seriously...AMAZING!!!!

look very goofy!

My beautiful girls

Carly Belle

Having Carly in our home is like having our own little ray of sunshine!
She just adorable and sooo much fun. She's always making us smile and
laugh...even the surliest of teenagers! Carly loves Toy Story, she watches it
almost everyday. She loves the rocking horse grandpa made and yells
YeeHaw while riding it. She loves her Dora bike, especially that it plays
music and she will get off of it and rock out. Carly loves strawberries, grapes,
marshmallows, chicken, juice, apples, chicken alfredo, suckers, cheese and well
just about everything but peaches. She will look at the pictures of the kids on the
wall and identify them as "my zaya, my kenna, my ashy" etc. Ashlee now shares a
room with Carly and she thinks that is the funnest thing ever! She wakes Ashlee
up on the weekends by whispering, " Ashy, Ashy wake up Ashy" and they'll lay in
Ashlee's bed and watch Toy Story. Carly is very independent and does not like
having to hold hands outside of the house, sit in the cart at the store...she wants
to do everything by herself! Carly loves being outside, whether it's jumping on
the tramp, riding bikes or going for walks...she's an outside girl. One of the
funnest things for her is to talk on the phone, she's truly a girl now! She's
always asking to call Grammy or Papa or Gracie and she'll talk anyone's
ear off for as long as they'll listen. It always cracks us up to hear her little
voice say, "check it out mommy" proceeded by some cute little trick she
wants us to see. She loves being scary and growling while chasing one of us
or doing a very high pitched fake scream as we chase her. She keeps us on
our toes but always with a smile....we love you so much Carly Belle!!!

Love my little stinkerbelle!
