I've had our cockatiel "Feebie" now for about 6 years. She's a fun bird, but I feel bad that I don't get to spend enough time with her. She stays in her cage out on the back balcony most of the time, but she loves to come in and visit with everyone. She's a real people-bird. She likes to be involved in the action, see whats going on and be a part of the conversation.
My surgery wound is healing day by day. I am having to take things really easy so that I don't give myself another hernia while recovering from this one - apparently that is when a lot of new hernia's happen, when you're recovering from one that was just fixed. I still have pain, and am still taking pain medication for it, so I'm still at home, not working, and it just doesn't feel right to not be working.
